Q: What's the actual difference between vibrosonic and rotating modes?

Vibrosonic mode delivers high-frequency vibrations (up to 31,000 per minute) that move toothpaste and water between and around teeth beyond where bristles physically reach. Rotating mode physically spins and oscillates the brush head against tooth surfaces — most effective for plaque on flat enamel and at the gumline. Many dentists recommend elements of both. This brush delivers both without making you buy two.

Q: What is the Smart Brushing Score and what does it measure?

The Sensor Control Brush Head monitors pressure, coverage, and timing during each session. After brushing, the LCD displays a score based on those parameters. It tells you whether you applied correct pressure, whether you spent adequate time on each quadrant, and how evenly you covered the mouth. Most people discover within the first week that they rush the back left quadrant. Now there is data to confirm it.

Q: Which mode should I start with?

Start with the Vibrosonic head and Clean mode. It is the most universally effective starting point enough intensity for thorough cleaning without being aggressive on first use. Spend a week there. Then try Clean+ or a rotation mode for comparison. Preferences develop quickly. The Customized mode exists for when you know exactly what you want.

Q: How does the Memory Function work?

After each session, the device saves the last mode and settings used. When you power on next time, it returns to that configuration automatically. If you use Customized mode, those parameters are saved. You do not reconfigure it every morning. Medi found daily reconfiguring unnecessary.

Q: Do the 30-second reminders actually help?

Yes. The brush pulses briefly every 30 seconds as a signal to move to the next quadrant — upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left. 30 seconds each. Standard dental guidance built into the device. If you have been spending 90 seconds on front teeth and 30 on everything else, the timer corrects that passively.

Q: Is the Customized mode worth setting up?

If your brushing preferences are specific and consistent a particular vibrosonic intensity, a preferred rotation speed yes. You set the parameters once in Customized mode and the device saves and loads them automatically. It is the mode for people who have brushed long enough to know what they want from two minutes.

Q: The charging time is 16 hours. Is that a problem?

It is on the longer end for the category. The 2000mAh battery is larger than most electric toothbrush batteries the trade-off is extended use between charges. Charge it overnight. Q: This is Step Three. Does the order of the full routine matter?

Yes. Flossing (Step One) and tongue scraping (Step Two) before brushing means the toothbrush works on teeth, not on displaced debris. Brushing after those steps with toothpaste containing nHA and probiotics means the formula contacts clean enamel. The routine is a sequence. This is the step where you use the most sophisticated tool in it.
