MasterMedi is an oral care brand built around a five-step daily routine: floss, scrape, brush, rinse, whiten. Each product in the range exists because something in the category was missing, poorly designed, or full of ingredients that weren't doing anything. Medi fixed it.

Step I — Floss. Step II — Scrape (tongue). Step III — Brush. Step IV — Rinse. Step V — Whiten. The order matters. Flossing first removes debris from between teeth so brushing cleans surfaces more effectively. Scraping before brushing means you're not re-coating your teeth with what was sitting on your tongue. That's the logic.

Material and shape. Stainless steel is the everyday standard — durable, rust-resistant, hygienic. Copper has natural antimicrobial properties and is the traditional Ayurvedic material. The Spoon Scraper has a curved bowl shape designed to match the contoured surface of the tongue. The Uni is a universal-fit design. The 2-Layer Black has a dual-layer construction. All of them clean your tongue. The differences are material, design, and preference.

No. Both use 10% Nano-Hydroxyapatite (nHA) as the remineralising active instead of fluoride. nHA rebuilds enamel with the same mineral enamel is made from. If you specifically require fluoride, these products are not the right fit — and we'd rather tell you that than have you use something that doesn't meet your needs.

Nano-Hydroxyapatite is the mineral that makes up approximately 97% of tooth enamel. When enamel is demineralised by acid exposure, nHA provides bioavailable calcium and phosphate to rebuild it — using the same material enamel is made from. Fluoride converts hydroxyapatite into fluorapatite, which is harder but chemically different from the original enamel structure. Neither is universally better. They work differently. We chose nHA.

Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid (PAP) is a peroxide-free whitening agent used in the Whitening Strips and Toothpaste Tablets. It oxidises stain molecules on the enamel surface without penetrating the enamel tubules — which is how peroxide causes sensitivity. PAP is considered safe for dental use and is supported by peer-reviewed research. It whitens without taking anything from your teeth.

Most products are suitable for children over 3 with adult supervision. The Toothpaste Tablets specify a target age range of 3–50 on the formulation. Whitening Strips are intended for adult use. The Oral Hygiene Instruments Kit is for adult use only. When in doubt, consult your child's dentist before introducing any new oral care product.

Medi doesn't make that claim because it's often meaningless marketing. What we do instead: use ingredients backed by published research, avoid unnecessary additives (SLS, triclosan, alcohol, parabens), and be transparent about what's in everything and why. We'd encourage you to show the ingredient list to your dentist and ask for their opinion. That's a more useful answer than a sticker that says "dentist recommended."

The Dental Care Kit contains Zinc Oxide Eugenol (ZOE) cement — the same material used in clinical dentistry — for temporary repair of lost crowns, bridges, or fillings. It is a temporary solution, not a permanent fix. See a dentist as soon as possible after using it. Do not use if you have a sensitivity to eugenol (clove oil).

Unopened products can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened products are not eligible for return for hygiene reasons. If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with your order number and photos of the issue.
